Delete your WunderGuide account

Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open WunderGuide and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Tap Delete Account and hold to confirm.

Note: If you subscribed via Apple App Store or Google Play, deleting your WunderGuide account does not cancel the app store subscription. Manage subscriptions in your App Store / Play Store settings.

What gets deleted

• Your profile data (name, email), authentication identifiers, and device tokens.
• Preferences, saved places/lists, itineraries, and other in‑app history.
• Chat history and associated transcripts created within WunderGuide.
• Third‑party tokens linked to your account (revoked/deleted on our side).

What we may retain (and why)

• Purchase & billing records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and auditing, kept for as long as required by law (generally up to 7 years, depending on jurisdiction).
• Security/event logs necessary to protect our services and investigate abuse, retained for a limited period consistent with our security policies.
• Aggregated/anonymous analytics that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained for service quality and research.

Retained data is not used to target you and is permanently deleted after the applicable retention period.

How long it takes

In‑app deletions take effect immediately on our active systems. Residual copies in backups and caches are removed during their normal rotation cycle (typically within 45 days).

Email us and we’ll handle it for you. Include the email address used for your account and any relevant details to help us verify ownership.

If you want a copy of your data before deletion, contact [email protected]. We’ll provide instructions and confirm identity for your protection.
